"LTD" is Long Term Disability. "Money" is an insurance policy to provide an income when you are hurt or sick and can't work. "LTC" is Long Term Care, sometimes known as "nursing home" insurance. The two types of insurance products are very similar because the coverage is triggered by a covered injury or illness, in the case of LTD. Or, the inability to perform 2 or more activities of daily living (ADLs), in the case of LTC insurance. Both forms of insurance have a waiting period, called an elimination period, which acts like a deductible before benefits begin.
